This is a Fine Art photo of 'LARSEN'S FROSTOP' sign which was located in friendly St. George, Utah. In 1861 Brigham Young opened this area as a cotton mission. Through the years it was given the nick name of Utah's Dixie. While the Mormon pioneers certainly did raise cotton, it was never competitive to the Southern prices, clearly, because the Mormon's did not own slaves, so the cotton mission was abandoned. St. George today is a retirement destination from people all over the world, its warm climate and natural surrounding beauty make a very special place to live. The town is situated on the Northeastern edges of the Mojave Desert and with an Eastern view point of Zion National Park, nature at its very best.
