Good Humor Ice Cream Truck

Thi si a Fine Art photo of a 'Good Humor' logo sign. This brand of ice cream was originally sold from ice cream trucks and hand pushed carts. It was the first frozen ice cream on a stick, with vanilla ice cream dipped in milk chocolate. The Good Humor company started in Youngstown, Ohio during the early 1920s. In the 1950's, Good Humor reached its peak of popularity and was a fixture in American popular culture. In 1961, Good Humor was acquired by Thomas J. Lipton, the U.S. subsidiary of the International Unilever Conglomerate. Now it is sold everywhere, but not in the ubiquitous Good Humor trucks with their inviting jingle bells.
