This is a Fine Art photo of 'The Wagon Wheel Motel' neon sign. This great old motel was located in Flagstaff, Arizona along the famed Route 66. What is really captivating about this neon sign is the advertisement of 'TV', which tells one about the age of the sign. No doubt, the motel was built during the 1950s when TV was actually not yet in every house on the block, so naturally it needed to be announced on the signs. People would surely be interested in spending the night watching a TV set, a rare event unless traveling somewhere. By all the research done, it seems the 'Wagon Wheel Motel' is no longer in business. There is no mention as to where even the sign might be.
