That dream came true when they opened 'Omars' in 1946, which today is still in operation. Located in Ashland, Oregon it's main claim to fame is being Ashland's oldest restaurant. They are open seven days week for lunch and dinner, plus offering the best in catering. Even though Omars has changed ownership and partnerships several times over the years, it's theme of 'dependable great food and drink at reasonable prices' has held to be true in the passing of time. Another inviting part of Ashland is the Shakespeare Festival that occurs yearly, some of the finest young actors find their way to the Ashland's various stages to perform the Bard's work of wondrous words.
