This is a Fine Art photo of the Sheridan, Montana 'MINT BAR' sign. Montana is noted for its earlier and still active drinking establishments. Throughout Montana one will find two names that would be given to the new bar in town. One would be THE MINT and the other THE STOCKMAN. These bar names pepper the landscape of large and small towns, but they all have one thing in common, they are friendly meeting places for the local inhabitants. It is a home away from home. Usually the food is only fair, but the atmosphere is the draw, most are decorated with early American Western antiques and memorabilia.
