This is a Fine Art photo of 'The Kingman Motel' neon sign. It used to be located along the Mother Road of Route 66 in Kingman, Arizona, but sadly the Kingman Motel met withe wrecking ball in 2007, not even the great old neon sign was saved. The 'Kingman Motel' was one of the original motels along Arizona Route 66. The question which keeps coming up when one reads of the destruction of the past and how simple it is to save a neon sign, and that question is "What were they thinking?"
