This is a Fine Art photo of the romantic 'Half Moon Motel' neon sign located in Culver City, California. Culver City is only a few blocks away from the old Route 66 that comes to its end in Santa Monica, California. It is amazing that this place has weathered the test of time. It was once a sweet motel back in the 1930s, but through time and the changing neighborhood it has slid down hill into the seedy category. Those who have stayed, thought the rooms were clean enough for the price and the Wi-Fi internet was a bonus. The one outstanding thing about the Half Moon Motel, is that the owners still put an effort into the up keep of the great neon sign. Kudos to them!
