Arthur Hitchcock, famous screen writer and director would have loved this place. The look of the stormy HOTEL could easily be an opening shot to one of his scary movies. This is a no frills place, but it leads one to think that there may be many unpleasant secrets behind that front door. No doubt, this place was a residence at one time and when the economy hit bottom, the family who owned this strangely plain building, decided to turn it into a hotel. It is clear that there was little room to hang a large sign, so they simply called it what is was, HOTEL.
