The Pioneer Motel was once located in the plains of Kansas. It is now long gone, it went the way of Prairie Schooners and cooking in cast irons pots. Being a pioneer meant that every day introduced new challenges, some had to be met with quick responses. It was a hard life, but the journey had a purpose, it was toward a new life. Some made their dreams come true and many were not so fortunate, ravaged by crop failures, drought, and unfortunate diseases. But in some odd way that Pioneer spirit lives on in what is the American personality. We are now a nation, relearning 'how to make do', of going back to what is simple, and how to reach out a hand to help some one in need, becoming a pioneer once again.
