This is a Fine Art photo of the 'Joseph Cafe' sign in Florissant, Colorado. Joseph Brush Gordon came to Florissant as an interested amateur scientist studying the Eocene Epoch. What better place than Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Joseph found enough quality specimens to keep his interest for a life time. Since he was cook in the army, he decided to open the Joseph Café and catered to tourists offering a great hamburger, fries, malted shakes and a great deal of information about the area. The café closed in the late 1980s, but the sign remains. You might not want to tackle buying a large sign of the 'Joesph Cafe', but you can own a photo of any size. Think big. There are so many men named Joseph, it would be the perfect gift for the Joesph in your life.
