A fine art photograph of the Hamley Family Cafe neon sign in Pendleton, Oregon. When one finds such a delightful neon sign as the Hamely Cafe's a picture must be taken. The detail on this neon is fantastic with the cowboy leather dangles hanging from the coat sleeve of the server to the coffee being poured in the cup. When this sign is lit at night it is a show stopper. You just do not find such great old neon in this condition. But the Hamely family would have it no other way. They are meticulous in everything that they do. Their history starts in the US in 1850 when William Hamely moved his family from England to Ripon, Wisconsin where they opened a small leather goods store. The Hamely name became known for their outstanding leather made products, especially, their Hamely saddles. The Hamely reputation grew and they became famous for the 'finest saddles a man could ride.' In 1905 the Hamely family moved to Pendelton, Oregon and through the years created an empire of western themed businesses, such as their famed leather goods company, western art gallery, amazing steakhouse and cafe. The oak elegance of the Hamely Steakhouse is old world dining at its finest. No money was spared when decorating this family treasure. It seems that everything they do is equal to the original quality from which their name was built. Each year the 'Pendleton Round-Up' comes to town with thousands of spectators and the best in western riders. The Hamely's welcome everyone with their friendly western hospitality. It is amazing how such a large operation works to accommodate everyone who walks through their doors. The Hamely photograph would be a fun addition to hang on your wall in the kitchen, especially, for people who are proud of their style of 'down home cooking.'
