VENTURA, CALIFORNIA Barbra Stanford’s dream was to open her own café and when she married and moved to Ventura in the 1950s, she was given that opportunity. No one worked harder and longer hours than Bee, she definitely lived up to her name, Busy Bee, not only was there a café to run, but four children to take care of.
