This is a Fine Art photograph of a vintage Pontiac Dealer sign. This Pontiac dealer sign dates back to the 1950s and before. It depicts the great Native American chief Pontiac. It is never believed that he owned a Pontiac car, but some think that he was still alive when they first introduced the vehicle in 1926, however, it is uncertain. No doubt, he would have been proud to have a car named after him. Most famous Native American chiefs have had car lines or styles named after them. It probably had to do with how well they road their horses while fighting intruders who had fire power that went far beyond their bows and arrows. As it is well known that each car has so much horse power. I would not know how to do the math, but Pontiac may have some engines in the vintage cars that had over 300 horse power. So you can visually see Chief Pontiac riding like hell to get away from 300 men armed with high powered rifles. Whatever the case Pontiac was absorbed up by foreign companies in 2010, so Pontiac rides no more.
