This is a Fine Art photograph of "Old Red." Owned by the Jergenson Farm in Kentucky, this old work beast was the proud hauler of many heads of cabbage and endless pounds of potatoes. The amazing thing is that this ancient work truck lasted from the 1930s until the 1980s hauling family produce from the fields to town. Naturally, Old Red was well attended to, always being maintained, as a valuable member of the family, which it was. It finally died when it through a rod and the engine shrugged its last breath. Most of us throw a rod at one time or another, some return , some don't, its life. This photo could be hung on your wall as the main focus of interest as one enters your abode. People would ask about the photo and you could tell them the story about the Jergenson family truck and bore them to death, this way ensuring they don't stay for very long. Just a thought.
