This is a Fine Art photo of a vintage Nash. Nash Motors opened its door as an automobile manufacturer in 1917 in the town of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Founded by Charles Nash who was the former president of General Motors. The Nash corporation was very innovative, they were the first to introduce a heating and ventilating system whose operating systems are still in use today, also in the concept of safety by creating seat belts. Nash-Kelvinator merged in 1938 and lasted until the company went under in 1954. Their main focus was to give the public cars that were "embodying honest worth at a price level which a wide market could afford." One of the most important vehicles that Nash built was the four wheel drive, Jeffrey Quad truck. This four wheel drive truck was a main stay of the army during World War 1, it was able to go where no other vehicle could drive. They were in production from 1913 to 1919, putting Nash as the leading truck manufacturer for military trucks. After the was the Quads were used in building roads and logging. After the war years. Nash then returned its focus again on the average American buyer with the new slogan "Give the customer more than he paid for."
