A fine art photograph of the Moon Emblem. If a Moonbeam had struck metal and gold this is the car that wood have been born from such a fusion, the graceful and powerful 'MOON SPORT PHAETON.' The Moon Car Company was based in St. Louis, Missouri and the cars were hand made by skilled immigrants from Germany and Ireland. These incredible cars were produced from 1906 to 1930. The end of production came as naturally as so many other ends came during to the Great Depression, but there was also disagreements within the company as to the production of a front drive vehicle. About 10,000 Moon cars were built during the 1920s. The Moon Car Club and its enthusiasts have brought about the rescue of many deteriorating Moon Cars from salvage dumps back to their original and pristine condition. They are to be congratulated in resurrecting a car company that would have become extinct, written off the American history pages of automotive engineering and design. An interesting article about the company, entitled "Over the Moon", appeared in the April 19, 2012 issue of Old Cars Weekly. How fascinating it would be to own this photo and have it hang from your balls.
