Chevy Grille

This is a Fine Art photograph of a vintage Chevrolet grille. From what can seen, it seems this vintage Chevy Grille is from 1930s. It played a very important part in covering up the radiator and other engine parts that might be exposed to the elements. Interesting enough, it was a French engineer and race car driver, Louis Chevrolet who created and founded General Motors in 1911. Production of the Chevrolet included everything from a sub compact cars to heavy duty trucks. It was important to stay in the "Low-priced three" category, so Chevy competed with Plymouth and Ford for the middle class dollars. By 1963 one out of every ten cars sold in the US was a Chevrolet. In engine design of the V8 motor that was introduced in 1955, is still the same engine used today with some modification and improvement. It seems that Chevrolet understands that 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it, just make it a little better.' They now are in full production in countries around the world; Mexico, China, India, Japan, Malaysia, Middle East, Pakistan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, South Africa and throughout Europe. Included in those countries are; Poland, Russia, Uzbekistan, plus production in South America; Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Trinidad and Tobago. The newest interests of the American car consumer is the 'Chevy Volt', which has been awarded the titles of '2012 North American Car of the Year and 'World Green Car of the year.' It is definitely clear that Chevy is here to stay.
